2. Islamia College
This aesthetically stunning university is one of Pakistan’s oldest higher education institutions and one of Peshawar’s most well-known landmarks. Islamia College was established in 1913 and was named after Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. A spot previously a hub of Black and Green Tea Cafés has now become a market built on a cluster of stores that offer electronics and clothes products. Although time has transformed many of the places around it, Qissa Khawani Bazaar still has a nostalgic aspect with small alleyways and ancient structures that constantly recall its remarkable historical value.
